What Lawyers Should Know About Selling

Japenic are providing a seminar in conjunction with the Law Society aimed at the legal industry.  The seminar is titled “A Corporate Approach to Business Development –What Lawyers Should Know About Selling” and promises to be an interesting session for an industry not known for it’s understanding of business development.

As a result of the increasing competition within the legal market law firms are quite rightly placing greater significance on a lawyer’s ability to generate business.  Rob and Dave from Japenic Consultants are leading the session, using their experience of training professionals how to approach business development, using the tactics employed by sales people in the highly competitive corporate world.

“Selling is not what you see on The Apprentice, we work with professionals to build techniques that feel natural and genuine and won’t undermine the integrity of your profession” Rob Harwood

This seminar will include:

  •  Six sales strategies that the legal profession can learn from the corporate industry and use to succeed
  • Five steps to building a long term client relationship from the initial meeting to developing a strategic and mutually beneficial relationship

“Selling is about the questions you ask, not the answers you have” Dave Hardy

“Rob and Dave’s sales training approach draws on the highs and lows of their own careers to provide relatable techniques to course attendees throughout all stages of life. Their energy is truly infectious and translates from the classroom to the professional environment.” Kathleen O’Connor, KO Consulting
